Prepare a brief summary
List the key events in order, the parties involved, and steps already taken. Separate facts you know from information that still needs checking. Mention scheduled dates or deadlines without guessing legal time limits.
Prepare a list before sharing documents
List the document types available, such as agreements or correspondence. Keep the first message general. Avoid identity numbers, confidential documents, and other people’s personal data. The team will explain what materials are needed for consultation.
Confirm the schedule and fees
Ask about the meeting format, duration, fees, and preparation. Sending a message does not confirm an appointment. Before the consultation ends, note what was discussed, unanswered questions, and the next steps requiring confirmation.
